Well, I made it to Germany with no problems.From Munich it was a bus and a train ride to Regensburg where I met up with Rob. Regensburg is one of these great Bavarian cities that was built over the last 1600 years by successive cultures. Great Gothic churches next to Franconian buildings next to modern train stations that can connect you to the rest of Europe in hours .
Rob and Kazumi have settled in an expansive pastoral landscape taken from a Van Gough painting.

Long rolling hills with villages nestled into outcroppings of trees. Ancient Castles watch
from the valley walls.

From here we traveled to the German Alps, staying in several small Gausthauses along the way. The towns were small and quite with great mountains surrounding the narrow Streets. Beautiful little centuries old churches.

One town and stayed in was Ramsau. This beautiful little Church sat beside a small creek thatran the length of the town. A small painting on the arch entering the cemitary contained this haunting figure.
